April 11, 2011 // Gulf Stream Breaks Ground on US Highway North 17 Project

The Town of Mount Pleasant and the SCDOT chose Gulf Stream as their General Site Contractor for the new US Highway North 17 infrastructure project to be completed in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

This project include over eight (8) miles of highway construction, two (2) major fly-over bridge elements, a subgrade bridge, four (4) sound barrier wall structures along with major earthmoving and infrastructure construction work to complete the project.

This is a large, complex project that will be constructed on multiple linear sites and features challenging conditions.  As always, Gulf Stream is well prepared for the challenge and we look forward to completing another successful project.
